Colchester Lathes
Off to visit the 600 Group on Friday, they are now the makers of Colchester lathes, from the standard ones used by the likes of me during my apprenticeship to the pucker multi axes beasties used in complex production. Should be interesting.
Next week, paper recycling factory on Monday and Leicester City FC on Wednesday. All good fun. Presented to a senior commander in the Romanian Army earlier this week - all about supplier selection and collaborative contracting. Sounds posh, but wasn't very sophisticated to be honest, not even sure he was listening!!
Oh, Cammy and Pops parents evening tomorrow........

unfortunestly at Cinncinati Dad didnt go on the lathe section but of course he knows about these machines as there must be one in every factory in the country, Hope all goes well at the parents evening, I am sure they will think the kids are great, we do. Grandma and Granfer. Dad says the pool is warming up the your gloves are still on the line waiting for you.
