Trip to Norrkoping

Hi all, just wanted to report from my latest assignment.

Am back out in Sweden, visitng a small factory in a place called Norrkoping, oddly only a few miles from the place I worked over here a few years ago. Weather not much good, snow about but also rain, so really slushy and mucky...not the crisp cold you'd expect.

One more day out here then we travel back to Stockholm for the night and then travel back to UK on Friday am. Hopefully we'll get a chance to eat in Stockolm rather than the airport, but it never normally works out like that.

Something going on

Blogger doing something odd again, am trying to use my account to upload a photo of Aussie G bwoling in the lounge, but it doesn't seem to want to let me upload photos without a google account. All the more odd as I just did it for Mum.

Who's switched and how did it go?

Mega Windy

Proper windy here today, loads of roads closed and trains cancelled. Luckily I am not too far from home so haev an easy trip back home, plenty of other people are deciding to stay in central Brum rather than try to get home.

Olds have gone to an antiques fair today at the NEC. They did a panto trip yesterday with the Dode's, I'll chase them to put a blog up....

Foxy Boxing

Thought I'd share a quick view of the new pastime in the Walmley household, apologies for quality, but sometimes rough and ready just has to do



This is our Wii, the new Nintendo and Sara is busy doing. It also has bowling, baseball, tennis and golf. Golf seems to be the most fun.

(It's playing up at the mo, I think one of the controllers is duff, will get it checked tomorrow)

Back in the old routine

Well it was back to work this week...not much fun after nearly two weeks off but I suppose it has to be done.

Went over to Ikea today to pick some new kitchen cabinets for the Dode's - Dodo leant on one of the drawers and broke it and a repair looks a load of hassle compared to replacing the unit. Will go back when it's a bit quieter to get the unit and then have a go at fitting it.

Not a lot else new.

Windy New Year's Eve

Okay, so we've seen the photos from the Narrewarren Crew, posing on the sunny beach. Well we went out as well, going for a refreshing walk in Sutton Park.
