So what's new

Quick update for our handful of avid readers - wonder how much I'd make if I sold advertising space on my blog!!

Emulsion is now finished on the new shower room (utility). Just need to finish the gloss and it's finished. The shower is still unused, odd really. Think it's because we're just not used to it being there so don't think to use it. Have to say it looks great though, will post a pic when I get a mo.

Kids have been having fun, went to Jo and Nevs on Sunday, holiday club yesterday and off to Great Rollright today.

Getting there at West End Avenue. Went over yesterday and cleaned a packed a few things ready for a car boot sale. Bunch of stuff in the garage as well which will need bringing out to OZ in December. Haven't formally put the house up for sale yet, but will do in the next couple of weeks.

May they rest in peace together

Reunited with other family, the three of them can relive memories and keep a careful watch over us all

Toad at Springwood

One of the best bits of our recent trip to yarmouth was visiting Haddiscoe.

We found dads old house which looked great nesteld in the trees and bushes down a little lane and luckily there was someone in the garden and she came to let us in. We were then introduced to Toad, who has lived there with Tiger for 45 years....

They then showed us round the house and garden - easy to see why dad loved the palce, the garden was fab and must have been magical as a kid to run around in. When Dad lived there there wasn't any mains water and all water was pulled up from a spring and Dad was pleased to see the pump still there!!

After a good chat st Springwodd we went up to Haddiscoe church. Amazing to see how many Dawsons there were there, and of course nice to see Grandad and Uncle Rodneys Grave.
