UK trip for Sara

Sara’s dad hasn’t been well and is im need of an operation so it was decided that she would go back to help out and be there for them. Turns out it was a good job she did as she spent the first few days snowed in with Grandma. Whilst it was frustrating that she couldn’t get to see her dad, it did mean that she was able to be there for her mum.

Op itself went well, with Grandad home reasonably quick. He’ll take a while to get fully mobile, but signs are good.

Lolly

So it didn’t go to plan, but we are left with some fond memories of our sweet Labrador puppy Lolly. While she was here we enjoyed running with her in the field and she was pretty well behaved most of the time – the odd snap didn’t go down that well. She slept beautifully and was great on a walk but perhaps the timing wasn’t right. After three days we came to the difficult conclusion that we had to take her back to the rescue centre. We’re comforted by the belief that she won’t be there long and some new family will be looking after her.

After many requests, thought we ought to post some pics of our new house.






We have unpacked most boxes now and got all the important stuff working; scalextric, surround sound, etc....

(PS while sitting in the garden posting this two Rosellas have flown into the tree about 5 feet away....very pretty)
