Another busy weekend

Weekend started early....on Thursday night I was at a PwC conference and we made an attempt on the world Hula record..most people at a time. The old record was 120ish, but we had over 700, so record truly smashed. We now have a Guinness World Record holder in the family.

On Saturday we had a pre-Birthday for Sara as I will be in Germany on Tuesday. As we hadn't managed it in Baw Baw, we took Sara to the snowdome so that she could have a lesson - which she thoroughly enjoyed. Looks like we might end up going a few times more, Sara has the bug.

Saturday night I whizzed over to see Dodo. She was quite tired but in reasonable spirits. On Sunday took the kids over to see Elsie and to give her some photos of Nathaniel for her and Dodo.

Sunday pm we went to Kingsbury with the bikes and met up with some other kids from school for a run around.

Back in Germany now :-(

The Police

Who said we are old fuddy duddies, concerts on a school night!!!

The Police were fab. We managed to get really good seats, right in the middle about 10 rows back. As expected they did all the classics; Roxanne, Sue Lawley, Message in a Bottle, Every Breath you take, etc.

Weekend Away

After three weeks away from home and only five days back in the UK, we decided we needed a weekend away. Well, not quite, it was a PwC thankyou for all the work we do in Stuttgart.

Sara came down on Friday night and we had a few drinks in the bar. Saturday morning was left clear to allow us to wander round the grounds, followed by a trip in the afternoon to Mercedes Benz World. Great fun there, playing with the 4WD mercs and then the fastand funky AMG's. I'm not sure Sara enjoyed sitting in the back as I flung the car round the test track, but she did get to have her revenge.

Then posh grub Saturday evening, and a back and shoulder massage on Sunday morning. Nice and relaxing before heading off to pick the kids up from Grandma's.
