School visits

So working through a few optiosn for Cammy. Have visited Mount Eliza Secondary College and will be going to Frankston High tomorrow. Erring towards Mount Elixa at the minute but let's see what Cammy thinks of Frankston. At the moment he's focusing on the fact that he doesn't like their logo!!

Scary 24 hours

So we woke up Monday to a phone call from the UK. Grandad had had a stroke and had been taken to the John Radcliffe hospital. Apparently he had felt crook and gone to the bathroom where Grandma found him unconscious. Reports that day were of problems with speech and his right side, so all the challenges Grandfer had to go through came flooding back.

After a day down at London Bridge, Sara rang the hospital late Aussie time and they were saying that he had had breakfast and walked to the loo....promising sutff, but we went to bed still anxious.

Next morning and he's back at home!! Walking about okay, but with some tiredness and still slurring his speech a little, but wow, we didn't expect that. Great to hear he's so much better than we had thought he might have been.

Easter Egg hunt

To make the Easter Egg hunt last a little longer this year, and to make it fairer on the little ones, Cameron and Melissa set up a bingo card each with a list of eggs they had to look for. This is the hunters being briefed by Cammy.


The usual hunt then ensued with some out on their own and some paired up, thankfully the weather was just right.



After the hunting was done everyone stayed for a while and a barbie. Tich found time to start up Xander's juggling career and Nate started on unwrapping the egss......

Breakfast walk

We thought we'd get up early today and have a walk on the beach. Really nice little walk, with a 'soccer' (to avoid confusion) ball having a kick about. We then had brekkie in Franger.


Later that day we took the boat out at Patterson Lakes. Nice place to launch but pretty shallow at the entrance to the bay and it was pretty choppy out there, but still nice to give the old girl a blast....
